Look at that crazy hair on my baby girl!

But she's beautiful isn't she?

Every time I look at her I just kiss her all over and I want to nibble on her little ears and toes an tummy. I love this baby girl. And I do giggle a little at that hair every time too. :)

Weeks 2&3

I know. I'm in denial that my baby girl is growing quickly, and we are actually in Week 4 today, so let's catch up a little. Turns out all that stuff about being a busy mom is true, and I haven't been able to get online much. However, I have been making sure to take pictures of my little dumpling, even though they haven't made it from camera to computer until today. So here's pics from weeks 2 and 3, with a visit from Nana and Grandpa and settling in with our little family of 4. (I will psot week 4 tomorrow) Temple is plumping up and her little personality is starting to show. She's also finally baby-colored, as opposed to butternut-squash colored, now that all her jaundice is gone. She sleeps a lot during the day (As you will see in the photos) but sleeps pretty good at night too. When she is awake, she is bright eyed and alert, trying hard to move that head around and see the world around her. It is pretty cold outside so we do a lot of cuddling and napping (hibernating) indoors for now. Looking forward to baby's first Christmas!

Cuddling with daddy

Hello, I'm Johnny Cash.

So we have been home for a week now, and today was officially Temple's due date :) It was a wonderful week of smiles, being doted on by big sis, cuddling with mommy and daddy. Today I took her to the craft fair where she got oohed and ahhed over by every grandma in town. She is still sleeping a lot, and mommy is sleeping as much as she can. :) But when Temple is awake, she is very alert and bright-eyed. She had her first bath, which she did not like at all, and even tried a bottle. We are all enjoying falling in love with her more every day.
